The Friendly Center has an experienced staff familiar with North Toledo and the local schools, churches and businesses.   With the dynamics changes within the neighborhood due to the recent economic and employment downturn, our staff is working diligently to provide the right programs and services.

Amelia GibbonExecutive Director
Amelia has dedicated her life to serving the Non-Profit community in Northwest Ohio and recipient of the 2014 Hero/Shero Award from the Ohio Commission of Minority Health. Past positions include Membership Services Director for the Girl Scouts Maumee Valley Council, Income Specialist for the United Way of Greater Toledo
June Allen
June AllenBasic Needs Coordinator
June’s responsibilities include distribution of food, coordinating client choice and government commodity. “I love knowing the purpose and having the compassion to help others, as well to stay humble and encourage others.”
James Bolden
James BoldenFacilities Coordinator
James is responsible for keeping the grounds in shape through out the year, doing set-ups & break downs for special events and maintaing facilities. He does pick-ups for the food pantry & commodities program. “I like my position because I don’t have to be confined in my office all day it’s the freedom and the variety that I enjoy.”
